This internship is open to students working on their degree in graphic design. It is an unpaid position, consisting of 15-20 hours per week for a six-month term and may be repeated or expanded. This internship will give the student a wonderful opportunity to gain a wealth of experience. College credit may be available depending on the requirements of your college or university.
The position involves:
- Assisting the Art Director and Web Designer with the production and design details of materials including, but not limited to: branding, publications, brochures, announcements, advertisements, posters, promotional materials, Websites, etc.
Candidates should have:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to be analytical, work well with people, work independently and take initiative.
- A good working knowledge of Quark or InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Dreamweaver programs in a Macintosh environment.
- Thorough, accurate, organized and efficient work habits.
