Autobasics is a car dealership that separates itself from the competition by providing a simple car buying experience for their customers by going “back to basics”. This means friendly service, aggressive pricing, and a great selection of vehicles. Recently, BroadBased helped them bring this experience online with a social media and email marketing campaign that features energetic videos designed to drive targeted traffic to their website and convert it to leads.
The first video piece we created was a Profile video that showcased all of the dealership’s unique value propositions. The video incorporated customer testimonials and employee interviews, and combined exterior and interior footage of the dealership to give viewers a firsthand account of the unique experience Autobasics offers.
Individual Testimonial videos were then created to let Autobasics’ customers tell their story about what they loved about their experience, and how it was different from other dealerships they visited. These personal accounts give prospective buyers an authentic look inside the entire process of buying a vehicle at Autobasics, from shopping, to finance, to driving off the lot.
Our video partner Baer Creative produced the pieces and we integrated them into a social media advertising and email marketing strategy. Ads were created using snippets of the videos, along with high-resolution still images of the vehicles. Audiences were targeted based on Autobasics’ existing customer profile and demographics, and served on the social media platforms that would be the most effective at generating traffic. The result?
In the first week alone we saw a 60% lift in traffic to the website.
