What do you love most about your job at BroadBased:
Making clients happy. I know that sounds trite, but the fact is that it’s harder than people outside of this business appreciate — and more rewarding because it’s not easy. Many people can write, but the challenge is understanding the subtleties of each project. Unless I understand what a client really needs, I can’t possibly hope to make that client happy. So there’s nothing more rewarding than putting in the effort and then hearing a client say, “You nailed it!”
What do you love aside from BroadBased:
I love old things that were built to last and repurposing them for new uses. My desk has 100-year-old Mason jars holding wooden rulers, dove-tailed boxes with file folders, brass scale weights and green-glass insulators just because. Outside the office I love being part of the community where I live, which means shopping with local merchants, knowing the names of the people on my block, and volunteering with organizations that care about others.
