BroadBased Communications Scores Among Top 10 in Jacksonville

March 1, 2001

BroadBased Communications, the five-year-old company of Ringling School of Art & Design alumna Jan Gaunder Korb, was named among Jacksonville’s top 10 marketing communications firms by the Jacksonville Business Journal in February.

Widely recognized for its excellence in design, BroadBased Communications has expanded its scope in recent years to encompass a full range of marketing support functions. Korb’s entry into the Jacksonville market came in 1996 as she founded BroadBased Communications to support the fledgling company’s primary client, Jacksonville Woman magazine. Her reputation grew primarily through word of mouth, and today the firm supports more than 30 active accounts including corporate giants with headquarters in Jacksonville, growing businesses, area colleges and city and state agencies.

2001 will be a year of profound change for the company. Renovations are under way to double BroadBased Communications’ space; the newly expanded suite will accommodate a larger meeting space and additional design modules. New staff members will be added to the existing team, which now includes specialists in design, illustration and marketing communications.
