Edwards Cohen Attorneys at Law (EDCO), based in downtown Jacksonville, is a law firm whose boutique size and tight focus distinguish it among area firms.

EDCO’s previous Web site was flash-based, and therefore the content was not visible to search engines – a feature that is important to the firm. BroadBased consulted with EDCO to create a keyword-rich content strategy produced in a format that is search engine-friendly. The resulting Web site reflects the firm’s personality and rejects the stodgy old design formulas typical of law firms for one that is fresh and creative. The new design is anchored by a custom interactive illustration on the home page that highlights the company’s practice areas as you roll your mouse over them.

More of the firm’s personality can be found on the profile pages, which are accented by favorite quotes ranging from Mark Twain to Yoda. Even Brody, the company mascot and “floppy-eared goldendoodle with an Albert Einstein hairdo” is spotlighted with his own profile page.
