Jan Korb, BroadBased’s CEO, shares tips for job seekers in Jacksonville Magazine’s January issue in an article entitled “Expert Advice: Branding Yourself.” In the article on page 55, Korb recommends using online tools like Twitter and LinkedIn to start conversations with business people who you admire. BroadBased PR’s Maria Coppola, APR, was recently interviewed by University of North Florida broadcast TV news students for a story about new media technologies and how not adopting new media may leave behind non-users. Can one survive in today’s society without utilizing email? How about the internet? Does society have a duty to provide information across all formats of technology so that non-users or those who cannot afford the latest technology will still receive the most recent, pertinent news and information? Watch the UNF broadcast journalism program’s half hour TV news program “Inside Jacksonville” on Sunday, January 30, at 10:30 a.m. on CW-17 (cable channel 9).
