Joy Watson Jarrell, an integral part of BroadBased since 2000, has been promoted to Agency Manager. In this new position, Joy takes on more management responsibilities for all departments within the agency.
“I’m honored and humbled by this opportunity, and look forward to my new position with BroadBased,” Joy says. “I’ve been with the company for 11 years and appreciate the ongoing opportunity to continue advancing my career.”
Despina (Desi) Pappas, Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator, joined the firm in May and will assist in coordination of public relations and marketing strategies and solutions.
“I am very excited to be a part of such an amazing team. After interning at BroadBased last year, I know this is exactly where I want to be in my career and exactly the people I want to work with. I am very lucky to be here,” says Desi of her new position.
Pappas, a Central Florida transplant, earned a BA in communication from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Fla. Being a former BroadBased intern allowed her to integrate herself into the local communication community. By joining the local FPRA chapter she created a network of professional mentors. Pappas was also active in the PR initiative of this year’s inaugural Jacksonville Fashion Week.
