JaxKids Book Club turns a page

BroadBased is now in our 12^th year of proud partnership with the Jacksonville Children’s Commission on the award-winning JaxKids Book Club, a free early literacy program for all Duval County 4-year-olds preparing to enter kindergarten. To inject new life into the story that began in 2004, the Book Club was re-introduced in May as a summer reading program, featuring a new bi-lingual “I Can Read” book, a new website and a new Facebook page. Parents and guardians can register eligible children and receive a backpack of literacy materials that includes five custom designed books about Jacksonville.

Since the program began, more than 1.1 million free books have been distributed to Jacksonville 4-year-olds, and we couldn’t be more proud of the role that BroadBased has played in branding the program!
