Kurycki Gets Judgemental

Senior Art Director Karen Kurycki was recently honored by being selected as one of three judges for The AIGA InShow, a statewide design competition in South Carolina. According to the association’s website, “The InShow has built a reputation of being a tough competition and one that designers are eager to have their work selected for. The show began in 1995 with a simple concept of wanting to create an awards show for ‘designers.’ ”
In addition to Kurycki, the other two judges were Matthew Muñoz, chief design officer and partner at New Kind in Raleigh-Durham, NC, and Santiago Piedrafita, head of the Department of Graphic Design and Industrial Design at North Carolina State University in Raleigh.
