Acronym of the Month: RSS – Really Simple Syndication

RSS Readers are great new tools to help you catch up on what’s new on your favorite web sites without roaming from site to site. When you use an RSS Reader, you bookmark your favorite web sites, blog entries, news headlines or podcasts. When new posts are made, they are automatically archived for you in one place. These “feeds” contain either a summary of content from an associated web site or the full text. With an RSS Reader, keeping up with your favorite sources of information is easy.

There are many RSS Feed Readers available to you, just find one that suits your style the best. Most software is free and easily found on the Web. BroadBased likes the online features of Bloglines but we also use the live bookmark feature on Firefox, our browser.
