It’s not unusual for us to field referral requests from clients and colleagues seeking candidates to fill design, marketing or public relations positions. After all, word of mouth can still be an effective way to find great candidates.
Recently, however, due to recent advances in marketing technology (we think), job descriptions are showing signs of “scope creep.” Case in point is the above job description that we received from a colleague looking to fill an in-house marketing position. The perfect candidate for this junior position will be versed in strategy development, print design, social media, website updates, e-newsletters, blogging and public relations.
