Mastering higher education microsites
June 1, 2016
Attracting quality students to meet enrollment goals can be every bit as competitive for colleges and universities as generating sales is for companies — maybe even more so. For several years now, BroadBased has been working with higher education clients on increasingly sophisticated digital recruiting strategies. The most recent campaign, developed for Jacksonville University’s Brooks Rehabilitation College of Health Sciences, incorporates several effective techniques for initiating a dialogue with prospective graduate degree students.
The JU strategy begins with both Google and Facebook pay-per-click awareness campaigns designed to drive prospects to a stand-alone microsite. The microsite features a section for each of the advanced degrees available at the College and funnels prospects to either request more information or submit an application. This strategy, which completely blocks traffic leak, keeps prospective students focused solely on the advanced degree recruiting information.
